Feelgood Learning have chosen two exciting new topics for the next three months. We will be looking at the history of Merseybeat and also at the French Revolution and its legacy.
If you want to meet new people and to exercise the grey matter at the same time then Feelgood Learning may be for you. Feelgood Learning is a group of local people who want to carry on learning new things. Each term they select a couple of topics of interest and spend time learning about them. Between April and July we will be looking at two new topics:
- When Liverpool Rules the Airwaves: The History of Merseybeat. A look at the origins of the Mersey Sound, the artists who made it happen and its legacy for Liverpool today.
- The Song of Angry Men: The French Revolution and its Legacy. In 1789 the French people embarked on a tumultuous journey that reverberates to the present day. These sessions will look at what happened, why it started and how it has impacted on the world in the past two centuries.
Feelgood Learning is open to all and runs at the Feelgood Factory every Wednesday afternoon (1.30 to 3.30) starting on the 26th April. Click below to download the programme for the coming term.
