Netherton: Elizabeth to Elizabeth
Local History Project
Alongside the week’s celebrations, Feelgood Learning and other groups are working on an exhibition and booklet (the latter will be available in November) to chart Netherton’s development from the days of Elizabeth I until the reign of our current Queen. In addition to local history we are recruiting local people interested in creative writing, art and photography to illustrate the final document, thus showcasing the talents of modern Netherton people.
For details see the project leaflet.
Netherton’s Jubilee Pudding Competition
The Feelgood Factory is running a competition for the best pudding for the Jubilee. This doesn’t need to be a new invention. It can just be your favourite or the one you cook best.
There are four categories:
- Children (up to 16 years of age).
- Mixed generation e.g. partnership between Granny and Grandchild
- Best cake decoration
For details ask in the Feelgood Factory or phone 291 8010.
Entries must be your own work (i.e. not shop bought).
The decision of the judges is final in each case and cannot be appealed.
Judging will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday 31st May 2022 at the Netherton Feelgood Factory. Competition entries must be handed in by 12 noon on that day at the latest.
For full details about our programme see our leaflet.
